Saturday, January 7th is First Saturday in the Historic District in Frederick Maryland. The theme is new this year, “Wine Down”, something we’d all like to do after the frenetic Holidays:)

As the name infers, there will be wine tastings at several locations, more than 20! Taste local, European and California wines of all kinds. There will be free massages and snacks. Aromatherapy, and hand treatments, ooh! Several art exhibits will open. I keep reading of “After Christmas Sales” everywhere!

The Downtown Frederick Partnership will open the doors to the public for the first time at 19 E. Church Street, with wine tasting, entertainment and more.

The Evangelical Lutheran Church Youth Group will offer babysitting services in the Schaeffer Center from 6 to 10 pm for a flat rate of $10 per child. (They are raising money for their summer trip.)

Sounds like fun! See you there:)
